University College Cork seeks to appoint a Programme Manager for the Research Ireland funded Centre for Research Training in Advanced Networks for Sustainable Societies (ADVANCE CRT). This is a senior administrative position, with responsibility for managing the programme, operations, budget, recruitment, marketing, communications and industry and stakeholder engagement for the ADVANCE CRT. We seek to appoint a committed and thoughtful person to join our CRT team in the school of Computer Science and Information Technology at University College Cork. The ADVANCE CRT - http://www.advance-crt.ie - is coordinated by the School of Computer Science and Information Technology and a partnership between University College Cork, Munster Technological University, TU Dublin, Maynooth University and Trinity College Dublin, and Irish-based industry partners. We are training the next generation of researchers who will seek solutions to the technical and societal challenges of global hyper-connectivity between large numbers of People and Things leading to exceptionally dense communications networks. The Centre has recruiting over 120 high calibre doctoral candidates in five annual cohorts (first cohort started in September 2019) with the final cohort of PhD students due to complete their PhD training at the end of 2027. The interdisciplinary approach of the ADVANCE CRT will provide training for students at the interface of technology and social sciences. Currently, over 90 internationally renowned diverse supervisors are committed to providing a student experience that will bestow opportunities for the graduates to advance their career in Ireland and beyond.

Salary: €73,492 - €93,094 p.a. (Admin II Grade 6A Scale B)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
