Fitness Instructor

We're looking for a motivated Fitness Instructor to join our team and bring energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to our valued guests and members. Our Fitness Instructors are responsible for delivering exceptional fitness services to guests and members of ESPA at The Europe, whilst maintaining excellent five-star client care and standards.

ESPA at The Europe consists of five pools, fully equipped gym and state of the art technical equipment including a fitness studio. We are proud of our people and the facilities we can offer, and we are looking to expand our current team with like minded individuals who are dedicated to creating a positive and motivating environment.

Reports to: Spa Manager, Assistant Manager & Supervisor

Duties:

• Ability to carry out fitness assessments and classes as requested by members and hotel guests
• Organise and conduct fitness programmes, inductions and develop programmes for clients of all abilities
• In depth knowledge of gym equipment and able to advise members and guests on the correct usage
• Must ensure adequate cleaning of the pool, gym, studio and reception areas
• Ensure that the stations (reception, changing rooms, pool side and gym facilities) are kept clean and fully equipped at all times
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations
• Promote the facilities and classes to hotel guests and members
• Responsible for revenue generation through up selling of personal training and packages in Active Level area

Requirements:

• Diploma in Health and Leisure is desirable
• Certificate National Qualification in Exercise, Health Studies and Personal Training is essential
• Minimum of two years' experience is required
• Personal hygiene and grooming must be kept to a high standard in line with our brand standards
• Positive, motivating attitude is a must
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service
• Dedicated to health and fitness and updating of social media channels for the gym
• Candidates must be First Aid and emergency response trained - FETAC level 5. Proof of certification will be required
• Fluency of English, both verbal and written, is essential
