This is an entry-level role suitable for a recent graduate in an IT-related discipline or someone with hospitality experience who has a strong interest in technology and would like to develop a career in IT.

Working as part of the IT team, the successful candidate will receive training and hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies used within a modern luxury resort.

Reporting to the Director of IT & Revenue, you'll work closely with colleagues across the resort to provide responsive technical support, assist with the smooth operation of our technology environment, and help deliver a seamless experience for our guests and team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with:

  • Providing day-to-day IT support to colleagues across the resort.
  • Responding to basic technical issues and escalating more complex problems to other members of the IT team.
  • Supporting guests with in-room technology such as Wi-Fi, televisions, telephones and other guest-facing systems.
  • Helping colleagues with common issues including passwords, email, Microsoft Teams, printers and other applications.
  • Setting up and preparing laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment.
  • Assisting with user account creation, access and password resets.
  • Carrying out routine checks on IT systems, equipment, backups and network connectivity.
  • Supporting the resort's wired and wireless network under the guidance of the IT team.
  • Assisting with the monitoring of servers, systems and cybersecurity tools.
  • Supporting a range of hotel technologies, including Property Management Systems, IPTV, AV systems, IoT devices and other specialist applications.
  • Keeping IT documentation and equipment records up to date.
  • Assisting with software installations, upgrades and IT projects.
  • Following established IT procedures, security policies and best practices.
  • Learning and developing technical knowledge across the systems and technologies used throughout the resort.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology, solutions-focused, eager to learn and committed to providing a friendly and professional service to both guests and colleagues.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • A strong interest in technology and a desire to build a career in IT.
  • An IT-related qualification or degree, or experience working within a hotel or hospitality environment combined with good general IT knowledge.
  • Good familiarity with computers, Microsoft Windows and common applications such as Outlook, Teams and Microsoft 365.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A friendly, professional and helpful approach when dealing with guests and colleagues.
  • The ability to follow instructions and procedures carefully.
  • The confidence to work independently on straightforward tasks while knowing when to ask for assistance.
  • A flexible and positive approach to working in a busy hospitality environment.

Development Opportunity

This role offers an excellent opportunity to begin or develop a career in IT while gaining practical experience across a broad technology environment.
