Asiera - Offensive Security Consulting Services Team Lead

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Team Lead to lead our Offensive Security Consultancy Services Team on a permanent contract basis.

This role is based at our Dublin 1 office; however, we are pleased to offer a flexible working arrangement via our Work-Life Balance Framework. This allows you to work from home up to three (3) days a week. You will be expected to work at least two (2) days a week in the office, giving you the opportunity to enjoy a balanced and dynamic work environment.

What the Offensive Security Consultancy Services Team does

The Offensive Security Team conducts vulnerability scans, penetration tests, phishing simulations and breach simulations for Asiera's clients.

What the Offensive Security Team Lead does

Reporting to the Security Consultancy Services Manager, this role will lead a team of penetration testers and ethical hackers to support Asiera's clients in delivering and maintaining secure services for their staff and students.

Key Responsibilities will include:
  • Liaise with Asiera clients to avail of our Offensive Security Consultancy Services.
  • Support team members to complete client engagements, from statements of work through to final report.
  • Review all reports created by the team for quality, accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop new services to be delivered by the team.
  • Support the team in improving its processes and procedures.
  • Procure tools and manage vendors used by the team.
  • Assist Asiera with client security focused workshops.
  • Mentor team members and develop the teams skillsets.
  • Conduct performance reviews of team members under Asiera's performance management system.

What we need from you
  • Minimum two (2) years experience leading, co-ordinating, or managing a technical team, or mentoring less experienced colleagues in the field of offensive security.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience of conducting penetration tests, vulnerability scans and phishing simulations.
  • Professional information security certifications or a qualification above NFQ level 7 in the field of information security.
  • Experience with Information Security Management Systems such as ISO 27001.
  • Experience of managing Azure Core Infrastructure.
  • Completed leadership training.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience in a client facing role.

  • Document management, SharePoint, data analysis, Power BI & Project Management
  • Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification
  • Experience with the use of AI to improve information security.
