Job Purpose
To enable and coach multiple distributed Scrum teams within CR2's Development Department to become high-performing, self-sufficient, and agile-driven. The Senior Scrum Master will champion Agile principles, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the effective delivery of high-value software increments across CR2's digital banking and payment solutions.
Our Hybrid Working Model requires employees to be on-site three days per week in the Dublin Office.

Key Responsibilities
- Agile Coaching & Facilitation
- Guide teams in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
- Coach teams transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies.
- Team Enablement & Performance
- Build team autonomy and maturity through servant leadership.
- Remove impediments and foster a safe, trusting environment for open communication and problem-solving.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and actionable feedback loops.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a bridge between development teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement and prioritization.
- Metrics & Reporting
- Establish and maintain Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to track team performance.
- Provide regular performance insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Change Management
- Support teams in adopting modern technologies and practices.
- Lead Agile transformation initiatives across the department.

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in software development environments.
- Experience working in at least two different organisations.
- Proven track record of transitioning teams from Waterfall to Agile.
- Experience with distributed teams and Agile at scale.
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Agile reporting tools.
- Agile certifications: PSM II, A-CSM, or equivalent.
- Experience in digital banking or fintech is a plus.
