Our client is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented IT Operations Associate who is fluent in Mandarin and English to join its team in Dublin City Centre.

This role supports the day-to-day operation of IT systems used for clearing transactions, electronic payments and business settlements within an international banking environment.

Role: IT Operations Associate
Location: Dublin City Centre
Working Model: Fully onsite, five days per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support IT systems used for clearing transactions, electronic payments and settlements.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of inward and outward clearing transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve daily system and operational issues relating to clearing services.
  • Collaborate with front-office, compliance, IT and operations teams to maintain reliable transaction processing.
  • Escalate system incidents, prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
  • Maintain and update IT operations procedures and manuals in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Review, test and implement contingency procedures for clearing systems.
  • Support the implementation and testing of new systems, products and services.
  • Participate in business continuity planning and disaster-recovery exercises.
  • Assist with system upgrades, enhancements, testing and ongoing operational improvements.
  • Monitor service performance and ensure issues are documented, tracked and resolved promptly.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience in IT operations, banking, financial services, payments or transaction-processing systems is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is essential.
  • Strong communication, documentation and report-writing skills.
  • Willing and able to work fully onsite in Dublin City Centre, five days per week.
