Basic Role Summary:

Chanelle Pharma is Ireland's largest indigenous generic pharmaceutical manufacturer of both medical and veterinary products. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within the IT function. We are looking for individuals who will support and drive Chanelle Pharma’s vision to be the most valued global provider of high quality, competitively priced pharmaceutical products and to provide excellent services and support to our customers.

This role will be based onsite in Chanelle Loughrea, in this role you will report to IT Operations Supervisor.



Location: Onsite at our facility in Loughrea.



As our IT Operations Technician, your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Maintain IT Service desk /Operations centre that includes IT support desk, Infrastructure support, Chanelle Networks, Application Support.

  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations/mobile devices and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.

  • Installation of printers

  • Reinstall of operating system (Windows)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • IT Qualification

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding, IT operation setup, IT helpdesk

  • Must have strong knowledge of Windows environment.

  • knowledge of LAN, VLAN and WAN.

  • Networking fundamentals (IP, DNS, DHCP)

  • Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.

  • Experience in a similar Level 1 role

  • Manual Handling Training

  • Onsite Office Work
