Site Agent - Dublin / Galway Location: Dublin / Galway
Salary: €70,000-€85,000 + Company Vehicle/Allowance + Benefits

We are currently recruiting an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established construction contractor working on a range of projects across Dublin and Galway.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional with a strong site background who is comfortable taking responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of projects, managing site teams and subcontractors, and ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day running of construction sites.
  • Oversee site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and direct labour.
  • Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate site activities to ensure programme targets are achieved.
  • Liaise with the Project Manager, Contracts Manager, design team and client representatives.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor progress against the construction programme and identify potential delays.
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are implemented and maintained on site.
  • Coordinate site logistics, materials, plant and resources.
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and documentation.
  • Attend site and progress meetings.
  • Assist with resolving technical and construction-related issues.
  • Ensure quality control procedures and inspections are completed throughout the project.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working as a Site Agent, Site Manager, General Foreman or Senior Site Engineer within the construction industry.
  • Strong background in construction and/or civil engineering projects.
  • Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, site management and health & safety requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong commercial and programme awareness.
  • Full Irish/European driving licence.
