The Role:
The Brand Protection Manager is responsible for safeguarding the company's brand integrity across European markets by identifying, investigating, and mitigating risks related to unauthorized distribution, parallel trade, non-compliant SKUs, and abuse of commercial programs. This role works cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Supply Chain, and external partners to enforce brand standards and protect revenue, reputation, and customer trust.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Parallel Trade Monitoring & Control
    • Monitor and analyze parallel trade activities across EU markets.
    • Identify unauthorized distribution channels and gray market activities.
    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize revenue leakage caused by parallel imports/exports.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to enforce territorial distribution agreements.
  • Non-Compliant SKU Management
    • Detect and investigate genuinely non-compliant, altered, or counterfeit SKUs in the market.
    • Ensure adherence to product specifications, labeling regulations, and applicable EU regulatory standards.
    • Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality teams to assess and address verified product deviations.
    • Lead corrective actions where required, including product withdrawal, remediation, or enforcement measures based on objective compliance or IP concerns.
  • Investigations & Enforcement
    • Design and implement monitoring systems to Identify and investigate misuse of company programs (e.g., promotions, end user discounts, rebates, distributor incentives), focusing on fraud, misreporting, or contractual misuse.
    • Conduct audits and reviews of high-risk activities to ensure proper program execution.
    • Collaborate with Finance, Trade Compliance and Legal to address confirmed cases and mitigate financial impact.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze sales data, distribution flows, and market trends to identify anomalies, risks, and opportunities.
    • Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor brand protection, compliance risks, and program integrity.
    • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to senior management to support informed, compliant decision-making.
  • External Partner Management
    • Manage relationships with third-party investigators, brand protection agencies, and legal counsel.
    • Oversee vendor performance and ensure alignment with company policies and EU legal frameworks.
    • Ensure all external activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and internal standards.

  • Execute Distribution Strategy: Implement the EU distribution sales strategy, aligning with company objectives to drive market growth and optimize partner performance.


  • Build and Manage Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with distributors by integrating digital tools, enhancing their sales capabilities, and driving collaborative success.


  • Analyze and Optimize Performance: Monitor distribution performance, identify growth opportunities, optimize SLAs, and address operational challenges efficiently.


  • Support Marketing Initiatives: Align marketing and promotional strategies to enhance distributor brand visibility, product uptake, and market presence.


  • Collaborate and Drive Insights: Work cross-functionally within the organization to develop actionable insights, support partner training, and adopt innovative distribution technologies.


Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviours to our team:
  • 5+ years of experience in brand protection, compliance, anti-counterfeiting, or distribution control.
  • Strong understanding of EU trade regulations, parallel trade dynamics, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with investigations, audits, and enforcement actions.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, BI tools).
