Roles & Responsibilities:

Will work with asset management clients on financial reporting engagements, business process reviews and remediation
projects, and short-term interim staffing assignments. The role involves working within a team environment to deliver high
quality outcomes and meet client deadlines. Responsibilities may include:
  • Manage a portfolio of investment fund reporting clients, with accountability for quality, resourcing, timelines,
  • budgets and client delivery.
  • Review financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit support packs for completeness and
    consistency.
  • Review complex accounting and disclosure matters, including valuation, financial instruments, consolidation,
  • related parties and going concern.
  • Lead client, auditor and administrator relationships and resolve significant reporting or audit issues
  • Develop team capability through coaching, technical training, performance support and succession planning.
  • Lead AI and automation initiatives across the reporting lifecycle.
  • Define controls for AI use, including approved use cases, human review, evidence retention, access restrictions
    and issue escalation.
  • Will build strong relationships with client representatives.
  • May also be involved in fund accounting engagements and other regulatory reporting activities.

Qualification & Skills Required:

  • ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified or equivalent IFAC qualification.
  • 6-8 years of experience in investment fund financial reporting, with at least 3 years of experience leading teams,
  • managing client engagements, and overseeing project delivery.
  • Deep knowledge of investment fund financial reporting, with extensive experience in the detailed review of
    complex financial statements and related disclosures under US GAAP, IFRS, and Lux GAAP.
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Strong communication, report writing, commercial awareness and
  • stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to assess AI use cases, control risks and measure business value without compromising reporting quality.

Desired:

  • Experience in fund accounting, including period-end and regulatory reporting.
  • Exposure to ERP and fund accounting systems such as Geneva, Investran, and Yardi, as well as financial
  • statement production and reporting tools including Workiva, Donnelley/DFIN, Confluence, OneStream, and similar
  • platforms
  • Experience leading digital, data, AI, automation, and financial reporting transformation initiatives within financial
    services,
  • including the development of technology-enabled solutions and client offerings.
