About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Teleporter Driver / Stores Operative to join our team on a major industrial construction project. This is a varied role combining materials handling, site logistics, stores management, and general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials across the project while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a teleporter safely and efficiently on site.
  • Operate a forklift for loading, unloading, and moving materials.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries arriving on site.
  • Check materials against delivery dockets and purchase orders.
  • Identify and report shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
  • Organise and maintain stores, warehouse, and yard areas.
  • Issue materials to site personnel as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and deliveries.
  • Ensure materials are stored safely and correctly.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties in the warehouse, stores, and yard.
  • Assist with site logistics and material distribution to various work areas.
  • Follow all site health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Teleporter Ticket (essential).
  • Valid Forklift Licence/Certification (essential).
  • Full clean B Driving Licence (essential).
  • Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (essential).
  • Previous experience in construction site stores, logistics, or materials management.
  • Ability to read and understand delivery documentation.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
