Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.
Course Eligibility: BSc in Business Information systems

Purpose
Clinical Trial Foundations (CTF) as part of Clinical Design, Delivery & Analytics (CDDA) provides leadership in the strategy and development of contemporary clinical trial processes, technologies, information, and capabilities and in shaping external policy and guidance to speed the delivery of medicines to patients globally. The Clinical Trial Foundations intern will have the opportunity to support systems used in the management of clinical trials. Working closely with colleagues in CDDA, Tech@Lilly and other components of the LRL@Cork organization, the intern will help deliver the operational, compliance, and quality status of prioritized CDDA business system support. This role also assists with functional area business and Tech@Lilly processes related to the development and lifecycle management of these systems, including data information & migration services.

Responsibilities:
- Grow a working knowledge of the various systems used across CDDA in clinical trials.
- Assist the team in resolving system issues quickly to ensure continued access; apply root cause analysis as needed.
- Identify system risks and issues and raise concerns appropriately.
- Apply knowledge to continuously improve functionality and efficiency.
- Partner across functions, geographies and vendor staff as needed.
- Understand and respond to customer feedback on systems.
- Support system testing as needed.
- Complete data movement activities and associated quality checks.
- Contribute to process improvements and carry an innovative mindset.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate/masters program
- Strong oral and written communication skills; able to communicate clearly and succinctly with team members.

- Flexibility in approach and/or high learning agility
