Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.
Course Eligibility: BSc in BIS, MIS, Data Analytics, Computer Science or similar

Purpose of team and role
Purpose of team and role: The Global Capabilities Optimisation and Automation Team (GCOA) are responsible for driving the innovation strategy in Cork GBS and beyond. The delivery teams are responsible for finding, assessing, and developing automation solutions within Lilly's business service towers, and consulting with teams on the most effective approach to leveraging technology to automate and enhance their processes and procedures. Solutions can range from Power Platform to VBA to cognitive intelligence using Python or data analytics. The Innovation strategy team, support the nurturing of a mindset of ongoing innovation and process optimisation across the Global GBS locations.

- Working with business users to understand pain points & opportunities to align with correct technical solutions, partner with the automation and Analytics teams within the broader Optimization and Automation solution team to leverage and align those with those capabilities to deliver measurable improvements.
- Work with partner functions in recommending the best options to stakeholders and gaining alignment on initiative prioritization.
- Develop & maintain effective communication with our process innovation champions across geographies to manage ideas and opportunities through prioritization to completion and value validation.
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate program.
- Experience of one programming language.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform. Experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Attentive to details to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
