We have a fantastic opportunity for a Client Director to help shape and grow Sedgwick Ireland's client proposition.

his senior, cross-business role combines strategic client leadership, business development and the successful implementation of new contracts.

Based in Dublin, this hybrid position requires attendance at our Dublin office at least four days per week. The role also involves regular attendance at client offices, Sedgwick regional offices and our London head office as required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead business development for Sedgwick Ireland, creating and delivering innovative sales strategies and action plans.
  • Manage and grow key accounts by building trusted relationships with senior influencers and decision-makers.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Sedgwick services, grow market share and increase client spend.
  • Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements, while acting as the client's voice within the business.
  • Oversee bids and the timely completion of tender documents, including RFIs and RFPs.
  • Lead the implementation of new contracts and support effective use of Sedgwick's CRM system.
  • Work with Business Unit Leaders and specialist teams to develop proposals, presentations and client solutions.

  • Represent Sedgwick through tenders, presentations, conferences, thought leadership and social media.
  • Help clients identify ways to deliver claims faster, better and more safely.


The skills you will have when you apply:
  • Client Relationship Management - Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
  • Business Development - Experience growing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Commercial Acumen - Strong understanding of sales, account growth and commercial negotiations.
  • Influencing & Negotiation - Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade at senior level.
  • Bid & Tender Management - Experience supporting or leading tender, RFI and RFP processes.
  • Stakeholder Management - Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and business functions.
  • Strategic Thinking - Able to identify client needs and develop solutions that deliver mutual value.
  • Leadership & Resilience - A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to lead change and work in a fast-paced environment.


Qualifications:

  • A professional insurance qualification such as ACII, ACILA, Dip CII (Claims), or another relevant qualification is preferred.
  • A business or marketing degree is highly regarded.
  • Evidence of continued professional development is welcomed.
