Intern - Source to Pay (S2P) Technology & Operations

Location: Lilly, GBS Little Island

Type: Hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to be on site 50% of the month in Little Island, Cork and 50% working remotely.

Course Eligibility: BSc/ BA in BIS, Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics or a related technology/IT field

Purpose of team and role: This role is within the S2P Centre of Excellence organization which supports all procurement colleagues globally in areas such as data, technology, process and contract management.

Specifically this role sits within the S2P Technology and Operations team who have a broad remit ensuring the optimal performance and administration of all Procurement and Third Party Risk Management tools within Lilly, as well as engaging in process and system development and other specific projects to ensure the optimal use of such tools. The team collaboratively engages with multiple business partners including Procurement Category Leaders, Finance & P2P and Data teams, in addition to technical partners both inside Lilly and outside suppliers, all across multiple countries.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides support to the S2P Technology Capabilities team delivering operational system maintenance, changes and support.
  • Support S2P Technology team through first-line resolution and management of support requests.
  • Own and deliver assigned small technology projects or operational changes related to S2P systems, communications, data and information management or reporting, as required.
  • Support the S2P Operations Business Partners with buying strategy development, data and process projects.

Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in 3rd level education and ready to pursue student placement as part of an undergraduate programme.
  • English fluency.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in BIS/Commerce/Business, Finance, Economics or a related technology/IT field.
  • Competent at MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Awareness and preferably experience with AI
  • Experience working in teams.
  • Keen interest in Technology
