Patient Care Navigator/Scheduler (Grade VI) - START Dublin

The Patient Care Navigator/Scheduler works under the direction of the ADON for START Dublin and has responsibility for the scheduling of patients who are on clinical trials in accordance with the clinical research protocol and the protocol's schedule of events. The Patient Care Navigator/Scheduler will schedule all clinical trial required procedures e.g radiology and maintain an up to-date schedule of activity though the START Dublin Treatment Room, and the START Dublin Clinic. The Patient Care Navigator/Scheduler facilitates the referral intake process, liaising with other institutions and proactively collects and documents patient's relevant cancer history - including lines of prior treatments, imaging, and pathology. The Patient Care Navigator/Scheduler is also responsible for maintaining documents within START Dublin's Electronic Health Record (EHR), 'ARIA'.
