What's in it for you:
The Finance and Sales Operations Analyst plays a key role in supporting day-to-day financial and sales operations activities across the business. This position partners closely with Field Service, Finance, Sales Operations, and other Customer-facing teams to help ensure invoicing accuracy, reporting integrity, timely billing, and effective order management. The role also supports continuous improvement initiatives, process standardization, and cross-functional coordination to help drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

This role is well suited for a team member who is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across systems, processes, and stakeholder groups to resolve issues and improve outcomes.

What you will do:

• Key Responsibilities
  • Support periodic financial analysis and reconcile ERP and related system activity to management accounts.
  • Partner with Finance and Sales Operations to support invoicing processes, issue resolution, and alignment across teams.
  • Act as a communication liaison to relevant business partners at key accounts for quote revisions and work order updates.
  • Assist with month-end close activities as needed, potentially including preparation and entry of journals and other financial support tasks.
  • Support Finance team members across business activities and serve as a subject matter expert and backup as needed.
  • Initiate and support projects aimed at resolving invoicing barriers and improving operational efficiency.
  • Investigate invoice delays within customer-hosted platforms as well as internal BBAI systems and help drive timely resolution.
  • Assist with the organization and reconciliation of orders, invoicing data and large datasets from customer systems/internal records to facilitate proper prioritization and processing efficiency.
  • Work directly with Accounts Receivable to support timely and accurate billing across customer accounts.
  • Support the development and implementation of invoicing processes for new customers.
  • Develop and refine reporting methods for third-party procurement companies and other customer-specific billing needs.
  • Build effective working relationships with customer Finance and invoicing contacts to support communication, issue resolution, and process alignment.
  • Create customer quotes based on approved scope of work provided by account managers and/or customers.
  • Receive approved dispatches from customer work order systems and enter orders into the appropriate business systems.
  • Provide support for customer meetings, internal meetings, training activities, and other sales operations responsibilities.
  • Process incoming RMA requests to support daily prioritization of loose-parts material requests.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience supporting finance, accounting, sales operations, order management, or related business functions.
• Working knowledge of invoicing, billing, reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, and month-end support activities.
• Experience working within ERP systems and related reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across functions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience working with customer portals, procurement systems, or order management tools is preferred.
