Senior Partnerships Manager
Manage the execution of the business B2G/ B2B partnership strategy across the State, PRS and PBSA sectors for a self-building residential developer. Provide strategic and market insights to inform the medium-term business strategy. The role strengthens the commercial pipeline, supports the long-term viability of the development programme, and ensures alignment between private-sector partnerships and public-sector collaboration.

Manage the execution of the business B2G/ B2B partnership strategy across the State, PRS and PBSA sectors for a self-building residential developer. Provide strategic and market insights to inform the medium-term business strategy. The role strengthens the commercial pipeline, supports the long-term viability of the development programme, and ensures alignment between private-sector partnerships and public-sector collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
B2G - State Funded Sector (AHBs, the LDA, the Housing Agency)
- Lead the identification, development, and conversion of B2G partnership opportunities that complement the organisation's self-build development pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Approved Housing Bodies, the LDA, the Housing Agency, and other stakeholders across the State sector.
- Shape partnership models that integrate seamlessly with the organisation's in-house design, construction, and operational capabilities.
- Work closely with development, construction, and asset management teams to ensure partnership requirements are embedded early in the design and build process.
- Oversee end-to-end partnership delivery, ensuring commercial, operational, and customer-experience objectives are met across the full lifecycle of self-built assets.
- Monitor sector trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform strategic positioning and future development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (development, construction, operations, marketing, legal) to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term partner success.
B2B - Living Sector (PRS / PBSA)
- Support the Head of Partnerships to align B2B and B2G strategies, ensuring shared insights and coordinated engagement to optimise value for the business.
- Provide research, analysis, and sector intelligence to strengthen B2B proposals.
- Support the preparation of bids, tenders, and partnership proposals for local authorities, housing associations, and other public-sector bodies.
- Contribute to cross-sector partnership models that blend B2B and B2G approaches-for example, mixed-tenure schemes, nomination agreements, or joint delivery models.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, roundtables, and stakeholder meetings, supporting both B2B and B2G engagement.
- Assist with internal reporting, pipeline management, and governance processes related to public-sector partnership activity.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between B2B, B2G, and core development functions, ensuring knowledge-sharing and consistent messaging across the organisation.
- Support the creation of thought leadership, case studies, and sector insights that position the organisation as a leading self-build developer in mixed-tenure housing.
- Contribute to strategic planning, including early-stage development appraisals, to ensure partnership opportunities are integrated into pipeline decisions.
- Work with construction and operations teams to ensure partnership commitments are deliverable and aligned with build-to-rent and student living standards.
Skills & Experience
- Strong track record in B2G/ B2B partnership development within State, PRS, PBSA, residential development, or related sectors.
- Experience working with or supporting public-sector stakeholders (local authorities, housing associations, government agencies) is advantageous.
- Understanding of the development lifecycle-land, planning, design, construction, and operations-particularly within a self-build or vertically integrated environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with both commercial and social impact considerations.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
