JOB SYNOPSIS
The overall project (ED PLUS) focuses on the implementation of a model of integrated care for older adults who are discharged from the Emergency Department (ED). The post holder will have responsibility for ensuring programme objectives are met through the appropriate implementation of research protocols, working alongside the Principal Investigator and research team. We are seeking to appoint dynamic postdoctoral researcher with excellent methodological, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills to promote and facilitate the conduct of a programme of research in the Emergency Department (ED) at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) and St James's Hospital Dublin. This postdoctoral researcher will be expected to have knowledge of applied age-related health interventions, health outcomes and healthcare delivery and utilisation in older adults through the use of both observational and experimental research methods. The successful applicant will bring research and/or clinical expertise in age-related healthcare and health services.
