16 Months Fixed Term Whole-Time Post

We are currently recruiting a Commercial & Venture Lead to join the NourishMind project an Enterprise Ireland Commercialisation Fund-supported start-up venture emerging from University College Cork, Teagasc and APC Microbiome Ireland. NourishMind is developing novel microbiota-based product(s) for weight maintenance. The technology is supported by a growing body of preclinical and clinical evidence, protected intellectual property, and a commercialisation strategy focused on ingredient partnerships and future spin-out company creation. The Commercial & Venture Lead will work closely with Dr Harriet Schellekens (Scientific Lead), Enterprise Ireland advisors, technology transfer professionals, commercial partners and investors to drive the commercial development of the NourishMind platform. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual with experience in biotechnology, health innovation, nutrition, life sciences, venture creation and scaling, business management or technology commercialisation to play a leading role in translating cutting-edge microbiome science into a commercially successful health innovation and business.

Salary: €86,119 - €113,446 p.a. (Admin I Grade 7 Scale B)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
