Assistant Lecturer - Water and Environmental Science
Overview of the Role
The Department of Environmental Science a wide range of courses across a number of disciplines including fulltime and online programmes in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, Water Services Management.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the postgraduate Programme in Water Services Management, and in undergraduate programmes in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety, and will also be required to undertake lecturing and associated duties on a range of courses within the department. Teaching may involve delivering to both full-time and part-time/online distance learning students. The supervision of postgraduate and undergraduate research projects constitutes a core function of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a primary degree in a relevant Water/Wastewater Science, Environmental Science, Environmental/Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
