Staff Nurse - Operating Department (inc Pre-Anaesthetics & Recovery)

Essential:

• RGN or RM
• Evidence of continuous professional development including mandatory training- such as BLS and Moving & Handling. If this is not complete at time of application, evidence of having successfully completed same will be required before taking up of post
• 12 months Theatre experience
• Role of DoH & HSE
• HIQA Standards
• Relevant health and safety regulations
• Child Protection
• National Neonatal Transport Team
• BFHI
• Immunisation Programme
• Traveller's Strategy
• Irish Cervical Screening Programme
• Health Promotion for Childbearing Mother & Family
• Clinical Governance & Risk Management
