The Manufacturing Engineer will ensure electrical regulatory adherence whilst supporting the Callan site with planned and unplanned electrical maintenance.
Rotating shift pattern
Week 1 - 0500 - 1330
Week 2 - 0600 - 1430
Week 3 - 1430 - 2300
Week 4 - 1430 - 2300
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Good organisational skills
- Strong work ethic
- Level 7 electrical qualification.
- Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts and to be available to work overtime if required.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Contractor controls inc. induction, permitting and GMP.
- KPI reporting
- PM planning and Scheduling in conjunction with function head
- Completion of planned and unplanned maintenance.
- To ensure that electrical engineering compliance is maintained at all times through audit completion, planned work completion and shared learning with the site team.
- To maintain the library of all technical, legal and Insurance electrical engineering documentation
- Ensure all electrical equipment meets statutory and H&S standards and escalate any areas of concern outside of their own control.
- Improving electrical safety of equipment
- Fault finding in Electrical, PLC and other control systems
- Maintenance of instrumentation and installation of all Electrical control equipment when needed
- Undertake electrical PPM, inspection testing, commissioning and basic repairs to plant and equipment through direct or organisation of third party contractors.
- Provide assistance to maintenance on mechanical related work as the business requires.
- Replacement of obsolete technology for which replacement parts are difficult or impossible to obtain.
- Modifications to existing controls for improved process control, reliability, safety and compliance with OSHA requirements
- Site electrical duty holder responsible person or support position.
- Completion of audits to identify key improvement areas and electrical panel standards adherence to company policy.
