Job Title: Instructor (VT instructor for 21hrs p/wk on a Level 4 General Learning Programme and 15 hrs p/wk on a HSE funded bridging and transitioning non-certified programme Evolve.)

Specific Purpose Contract, 36 hours a week
Salary starting from €36,455.15 with 14 increments to €61,581.27per annum, based on qualifications and experience
Job Purpose:
The instructor is responsible for the training and development of Learners in accordance with the agreed local training programme specifications, together with the day-to-day running and maintenance of all aspects of the training programmes. The instructor assists Learners with additional support needs in exploring their future career and educational direction and in making realistic vocational choices with a view to progressing to further education/employment
The instructor will be responsible for all aspects of module delivery, co-ordination and facilitation in respect of the PC Maintenance and Networking programme.

Minimum Education & Experience required:
- Third level qualification in any area such as employment, business, education, training, social care, retail, logistics etc.
- A relevant pedagogical/training qualification - Train the Trainer QQI Level 6 as a minimum
- Experience of working in a specialized training environment
- Experience in delivery of QQI level 4 certifications.
- Experience in developing and delivering training would be an advantage
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide systematic training according to specified curricula, with responsibility for the instruction of a number of modules for QQI Levels 4 certification
- Facilitate participants in developing the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to secure progression outcomes
