Role Purpose
The Partner Enablement Specialist plays a key role in ensuring Fintua partners are successfully onboarded, trained, and supported throughout their journey with the platform.
Working closely with the Senior Manager - Solutions Enablement & Customer Success, the successful candidate will lead partner onboarding activities, coordinate training programmes, provide first-line functional support, and help partners build confidence in delivering VAT compliance services through the Fintua platform.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of VAT processes and a passion for technology, customer success, and helping users adopt new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Onboarding & Training
Coordinate onboarding activities across partner, compliance, product and customer success teams to ensure successful and timely go-liveConfigure partner environments and support solution setup activities.
Deliver onboarding sessions and training workshops for partner teams.
Create and maintain onboarding documentation, user guides, and training materials.
Track onboarding progress and ensure partners achieve agreed implementation milestones.
Assist partners in preparing for their first VAT return cycles using the platform.
VAT Compliance Support
Support partners in understanding and using VAT compliance workflows within the platform, providing guidance on template creation, data validation, return preparation and best-practice processes.
Work with internal compliance teams to ensure guidance provided aligns with current VAT regulations.
Assist in validating VAT return data before partner handover to self-sufficient operations.
Promote best-practice processes that improve compliance accuracy and efficiency.
Partner Support & Issue Resolution
Act as a primary point of contact for day-to-day partner support queries.
Investigate functional platform issues and coordinate resolution with Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams.
Monitor support trends and identify recurring issues requiring training or process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, issues, and resolutions.
Enablement & Adoption
Support partner adoption of new platform features and capabilities.
Deliver refresher training and feature update sessions.
Assist with partner webinars, workshops, and user engagement initiatives.
Gather partner feedback and share insights with Product and Tax Technology teams.
Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and support processes.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with Tax technology, Compliance Teams, Product Teams, and onboarding and Customer Support functions.
Assist the Senior Manager - Solutions Enablement & Customer Success in preparing partner reviews and enablement plans.
Contribute to internal process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the creation of standard operating procedures and training frameworks.
Skills & Experience
VAT Knowledge
Strong working knowledge of VAT compliance processes and VAT return preparation, gained through experience in practice, industry, outsourcing, or tax technology.
Comfortable reviewing VAT return data, identifying common issues, and supporting users through VAT compliance workflows.
Familiarity with indirect tax obligations across multiple jurisdictions is desirable.
Ability to interpret compliance requirements and explain them clearly to users.
Tax Technology & SaaS Experience
Experience working with tax technology, finance technology, compliance software, or SaaS solutions.
Understanding of software implementation, configuration, or customer onboarding processes.
Experience supporting users through system adoption and change management.
Customer-Facing Skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Confident delivering training sessions and workshops to diverse audiences.
Able to explain technical and compliance concepts in a simple, user-friendly manner.
Problem Solving
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Comfortable investigating issues and coordinating solutions across multiple teams.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will combine indirect tax knowledge with a strong interest in technology and will enjoy helping partners adopt, configure and successfully use tax technology solutions.
Experience in customer onboarding, implementation, customer success, or partner support roles.
Knowledge of eInvoicing, digital reporting, or indirect tax technology solutions.
