JOB SYNOPSIS
We are offering a part-time Research Assistant position (6 hours/week, 0.15 FTE) in the Research Ireland funded COALESCE project 'Evaluation of Comprehensive Alcohol Warning Labels in Ireland': The Project and the Team. The project evaluates the effectiveness of alcohol warning messages in Ireland. The project includes an interdisciplinary team including psychologists and statisticians, representatives from NGOs, and international collaborators. We acknowledge that interdisciplinary work can be a challenge, but we are a group that values kindness and curiosity.
The project includes a longitudinal experiment with 3 waves of data collection and an experiment within a pub setting. The goal is to evaluate how the prescribed Irish alcohol warning messages affect cognition, affect, and behaviour to derive recommendations for policy. The Tasks: In close collaboration with the PI and Co-PI, another Research Assistant, and a postdoctoral researcher to implement data collection for Wave 3 of the longitudinal experiment, to contribute to analyses of very rich data of Wave 1 and Wave 2, to write up manuscripts and research reports for publication, and to contribute to disseminating the findings.
The Candidate: We are looking for a curious and self-motivated candidate who is open to learning new skills and working with an interdisciplinary team.

Salary Scale: €34,129 - €44,311 p.a. pro rata (maximum starting salary €34,966 p.a. pro rata)
