The Senior Azure DevOps Engineer role is based in the Dublin office.
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage an enterprise-scale Azure environment. This role will focus on building secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions while collaborating with development, IT, various business units, and security teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy Azure infrastructure and services.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
- Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance and cost.
- Collaborate with Dev and other IT teams for CI/CD integration.
- Oversee Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Windows 365 configuration and environmental management
- Azure IAM in conjunction with Directory Services
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using PowerShell, Arm templates, Terraform, Git Actions etc.
- Use scripting languages and automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and automate repetitive tasks.
- Support Dynamics365 environments.
- Configure virtual networks, gateways, and other networking components.
- Prepare technical documentation and executive reports for stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing principles and DevOps best practices.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Azure services, including identity, governance, storage, compute, and networking.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation.
- Experience with security principles and tools in a cloud environment.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and optimize cloud costs.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure technologies
- Degree (preferred).
Experience
- Multiple years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud architecture
- Experience with containerization
- Experience of managing stakeholders across all levels and working with outsourced suppliers.
- Experience of creating and presenting executive summary reports.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
