Storeman- Dublin Airport

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Organise and maintain the stores to ensure efficient storage and easy access to items.
• Label and categorise products clearly for easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensure that all items are stored in a manner that preserves their condition and meets safety standards
• Keep the store clean, organised, and free of hazards.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes or purchase orders
• Properly store items in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including stock levels, locations, and movements.
• Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, surpluses, or discrepancies to management.
• Track and manage the movement of goods in and out of the store.
• Inspect goods upon arrival and before dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Ensure that goods delivered match the purchase order and delivery docket
• Identify and report damaged, defective, or expired products to management.
• Implement and follow proper procedures for handling and storing hazardous or sensitive materials
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines within the warehouse.
• Ensure that all safety equipment is used correctly and that safety procedures are followed.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Management immediately.

Essential:

• Full clean, driving License
• Proficient in Microsoft Work/ Excel
• Proven experience in storing and handling mechanical and electrical materials on construction sites.
• Knowledge of M&E components such as cables, fittings, valves, and fixtures.
• Skilled in stock control and inventory management (manual or digital)
• Ability to receive, inspect, and issue materials safely
• Strong organisation, communication, and coordination skills
• Safety-conscious, with understanding of HSE and hazardous materials handling.
