Associate Director - Sustainability Carbon Lead

Responsible for directing and managing Responsible Business activities, teams, and client service delivery within Construct, Consult, Operate engine in a global market and/or sector.
You'll be responsible for:
- Directing responsible business outcomes, delivering measurable client value.
- Driving revenue growth and sustainable sector performance.
- Directing work winning, bids and strategic pipeline decisions.
- Building strong senior client and partner relationships.
- Shaping integrated service offers across Mace disciplines.
- Championing climate action, social value and biodiversity outcomes.
- Ensuring effective resourcing, capability and future talent planning.
- Promoting sector insight, thought leadership and best practice.
- Representing Mace externally, enhancing profile and market presence.
- Supporting net zero transition and carbon reduction objectives.
You'll need to have:
- 8 years' experience of compiling and interpreting Scope 1, 2 and Scope 3 emissions under GHG Protocol as they relate to infrastructure projects, including construction activities, materials, energy use, supply chains and where 3rd parties been engaged.
- Chartered or professionally accredited.
- Experience embedding carbon metrics in procurement.
- Knowledge of EPDs and infrastructure materials.
- Proficient in whole-life carbon and LCA tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and technical communication.
- Supports decarbonisation, innovation and capability development.
