What you'll achieve
As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will lead and work with local and global cross-functional and engineering teams to develop and support manufacturing in Cork Manufacturing Operations.

You will act as the subject matter expert for manufacturing equipment, liquid cooling systems and assembly processes, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing operations.

You will:

  • Lead and support the development and delivery of processes, equipment, capacity & layout supporting manufacturing.

  • Use problem solving tools, quality tools, manufacturing methodology and project management methodology to identify and implement Lean and continuous improvement projects in the areas of industrial, manufacturing, productivity, and automation.

  • Drive equipment reliability, preventative maintenance strategies and operational excellence initiatives with equipment technicians and operations teams.

  • Other engineering duties as required and assigned.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electrical/Electronic, or similar

  • 6+ years of manufacturing engineering, process engineering, equipment engineering or related experience.

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English is essential, with strong written and verbal skills.

Desirable Requirements

  • Project Management experience

  • Lean / Six Sigma experience

  • Experience with liquid cooling technologies, thermal management systems, heat exchangers, pumps and fluid distribution systems
