Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

The Digital Operations Associate role exists to ensure the smooth, accurate and controlled operation of SDI's institutional digital asset services. This position is critical to enabling client onboarding, account and wallet readiness, transaction and transfer processing, settlement, reconciliations and the timely resolution of operational issues across a fast-moving global business.

It serves as an operational backbone for SDI's digital asset offering, coordinating activity across clients, internal teams and external partners while supporting new products, process enhancements and the continued growth of the business.

Primary duties will include:

Digital Asset Operations:

Support end-to-end client onboarding and operational account setup, ensuring clients are ready to transact and settle efficiently. Configure and maintain client accounts, wallets, entitlements and supported assets in line with approved business requirements. Process and monitor digital asset deposits, withdrawals, transfers and custody movements, resolving failed or delayed activity promptly. Coordinate fiat, stablecoin and digital asset settlement with internal teams, clients, banks, liquidity providers and custodians. Perform daily reconciliations across trading, custody and settlement records, investigating breaks and driving exceptions through to resolution. Monitor daily operational activity and provide responsive support across client, banking, custody and vendor relationships, including clear escalation and handover of outstanding issues. Support platform testing, new product and workflow readiness, operational reporting, procedure development, resilience activity and initiatives that improve efficiency and service delivery. Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • Experience in financial operations, payments, treasury, custody, digital assets or a similar controlled environment.
  • Strong reconciliation, settlement and exception-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, organisational and task-management skills.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Excel and working across multiple operational systems.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with sound judgement on when to escalate issues.

  • Experience in institutional digital assets or regulated financial services.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding, wallet operations, settlement or custody.
  • Exposure to trading, custody or reconciliation platforms.
  • Experience in process documentation, testing, automation or operational improvement.
  • A genuine interest in financial markets and digital assets.

Education / Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience or training.
  • Relevant professional training or certification in financial services, operations, payments, treasury, custody, risk or digital assets would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to complete role-specific training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant operational, regulatory and market developments.
