Summary

This is a critical position associated with the successful operation of our Warehouse & Logistics department. The Warehouse Operator will support all warehouse activities and function in a dynamic manufacturing environment where quality, safety and teamwork are key requirements. The Warehouse Operator will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Order Fulfillment & Shipping

  • Process customer orders through the Meissner Virtual Production system and World link, shipping management system, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping timelines.
  • Fulfil cleanroom raw material requests accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring correct stock movements are recorded in the warehouse management system (MVP).
  • Handle returned sterilized gamma pallets: consolidate customer orders in line with the shipping schedule, and wrap/strap pallets in a timely manner.
  • Load and unload carriers/delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Carry out visual inspections of materials and finished goods to ensure they meet quality requirements.

Material & Inventory Management

  • Move material returned from a third-party logistics company to the correct warehouse location, accurately updating records in MVP.
  • Load the Vertical Lift Module (VLM) in line with reporting requirements.
  • Complete cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Collect waste from the interlock area and dispose of or recycle it in the correct designated location, in line with site waste management procedures.

Continuous Improvement & Flexibility

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse function.
  • Occasional work within the cleanroom manufacturing environment may be required to support operational requirements.

Health, Safety & GMP Compliance

  • Safely operate the compactor, including emptying it as required, following all relevant safe systems of work.
  • Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently once certified, in accordance with site operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment while adhering to Health and Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Report inventory discrepancies, equipment issues or safety concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to record production results.
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills is essential.
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction from the Team Lead/Supervisor
  • Physically able to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, wrapping, and moving pallets and materials.
  • A personal commitment to produce the highest quality product possible is essential.

Physical Demands

Occasional work may be done in an ISO Class 7 cleanroom environment. Powder free gloves, face masks, hairnets, gowns, and shoe covers must be worn. Because smokers continue to shed thousands of smoke particles even hours after smoking a cigarette and these particles will damage our products, only non-smokers are permitted to enter or work in the cleanroom. As a result, the successful candidate must be a nonsmoker.

For positions requiring access to controlled technology subject to export control regulations, including the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and/or EU Dual-Use Regulations (EU 2021/821), Meissner may be required to obtain export control approval from government

authorities for certain individuals. All employment is contingent upon Meissner obtaining any export license or other approval that may be required by relevant export control authorities.
