The post holder will lead the provision of clinical support and training to Critical Care staff, including the Surge Nurses. The aim is to assist staff in their transition to the working environment, enhance their skills, competence, and confidence, and supplement the nursing roles and responsibilities in the ICU and HDU. He or she will work with the nursing team to ensure that critical care and surge staff maintain the required and appropriate clinical skills and competencies to facilitate timely patient care and interventions.
