Food and Beverage Assistant

Tullamore Court Hotel is looking for warm, enthusiastic and guest-focused Food and Beverage Assistants to join our team.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will help create memorable dining experiences by delivering friendly, attentive and professional service across the hotel's bars, restaurants, functions and events.

Working closely with the wider Food & Beverage team, you will ensure our guests feel welcomed and well cared for throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them clearly to the relevant teams.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining excellent presentation standards.
• Prepare dining areas, bars and function rooms before service.
• Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised and fully stocked.
• Provide guests with information about menus, ingredients and available options.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and feedback.
• Follow all food safety, allergen, hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Support colleagues across the department during busy service periods, functions and special events.
• Contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality, food service or customer service is desirable, but full training can be provided.
• A warm, friendly and professional approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in delivering memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
