Tullamore Court Hotel is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and guest-focused Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team.

As a Bartender, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, provide knowledgeable recommendations and ensure every guest receives warm, attentive and professional service.

Working closely with the Bar Team Leader and Food & Beverage management team, you will help maintain excellent service standards while contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel's bars and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
  • Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive and efficient service.
  • Take orders accurately and process payments using the hotel's point-of-sale system.
  • Provide guests with information and recommendations regarding drinks and menu options.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked bar area.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment and stock rotation.
  • Follow all licensing, responsible service, food safety and health and safety requirements.
  • Support colleagues across the Food & Beverage department during busy service periods and events.
  • Respond professionally to guest requests and help resolve any concerns.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive and inclusive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous bar or hospitality experience is desirable, but full training can be provided.
  • A friendly and confident approach with a genuine interest in guest service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy environment.
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to remain organised under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop.
  • Knowledge of cocktails, wines, spirits and responsible alcohol service is an advantage.
