Job Description Project Manager - Operations PMO 6-12 Month Contract | Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) | Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Operations The Opportunity A leading pharmaceutical operations business is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its Operations PMO on a 6-12 month contract. You will take ownership of multiple projects across commercial operations, supply chain, manufacturing, quality and lifecycle management, providing the structure, governance and coordination needed to keep projects on track. This role will suit someone who can hit the ground running, work effectively with senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional projects through to successful delivery. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery Manage multiple concurrent projects within the Operations portfolio. Develop and maintain project schedules and integrated project plans. Lead project initiation, planning, execution and close-out. Track deliverables, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues and actions. Keep projects aligned to agreed scope, timelines and objectives. Drive accountability for action completion across functional teams. Escalate risks and issues to project sponsors and governance bodies as needed. Governance & Reporting Lead project team meetings, steering meetings and stakeholder reviews. Produce clear, concise project status reports and executive summaries. Maintain RAID logs, decision logs and project documentation. Support reporting into PMO governance forums and portfolio reviews. Apply project management standards and methodologies consistently. Stakeholder Management Build strong working relationships across Operations functions. Act as the central coordination point between SMEs, sponsors and stakeholders. Facilitate effective cross-functional decision-making. Drive alignment across internal teams and external partners. Communicate progress, challenges and mitigation plans clearly and proactively. Planning & Resource Coordination Coordinate project timelines and resource requirements. Identify project interdependencies and potential resource conflicts. Support project prioritisation activities. Work with functional leads to sequence and resource critical activities. Continuous Improvement Promote PMO best practice and project management discipline. Support standardisation of project management tools, templates and reporting. Identify opportunities to improve project execution and governance. Required Qualifications & Experience 7+ years' project management experience within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical Device or another highly regulated manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a matrix organisation. Strong schedule management and project planning capabilities. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work at senior level. Experience leading cross-functional project teams. Strong risk, issue and dependency management experience. Experience preparing executive-level presentations and project reports. Must Have PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification. Experience with commercial pharmaceutical products. Experience within Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Supply Chain, Quality or CMC environments. Familiarity with PMO governance frameworks and portfolio management. Experience using Planview, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
