• Knowledge of common Reserving techniques an advantage. (eg: Bornheutter Ferguson, Chain Ladder, Mack Method)
Required skills
Good communication skills, team player, organised and punctual
Languages
English fluency necessary for this position. French or other European language an advantage

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reserving
- Participate in ensuring reserving programs are set up in a timely manner in time for the monthly closing of the accounts.
- Participate in the development and testing of new methodologies for calculating the technical reserves.
- Improvements to existing programs.
- Debugging issues with existing programs and VBA macros.
- Maintenance of the Data Centralizer for all the partners that are live in Titan.
- Develop new functionalities in the Data Centralizer for partners that are live in Titan.
- Contribute to other key projects.
Reserving Program migration
- Develop applications for creation of new reserving programs.
- Communicate and Review program specifications with Data Management.
- User Acceptance Testing of programs before entering into production.
- Documentation of progress and checks carried out.
Database Management & Reporting
- Assist in defining data and reporting requirements while setting up new partners/products/reinsurance treaties.
- Complete monthly controls for Audit/Governance.
- Participate in the regular report running schedule and process.
- Identify and report data entry errors. Monitor progress made toward resolution of errors and contribute to creation of new controls.
Supplementary Information
External Relations
- Develop good relationships with Data Management Team
- With IT, Project, Administration & Operations, Finance and Business Development Departments
- With corporate clients and Third-Party Administrators (TPA)
Liaise closely with the Reserving Production team To be back-up of the fellow colleague in situation of absence.
