Capital Projects Manager
This position presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, proactive individual, with substantive experience of delivering capital projects, at a senior level, to make a significant contribution to the future of ATU, as it embarks on its next stage of development. The Capital Projects Manager will work closely with the Head of Capital Development and other senior stakeholders to implement a strategy, which sets out a vision and delivery plan for the future development of all ATU campuses in line with the Universities strategic objectives. Reporting to the Head of Capital Development, the post-holder will have responsibility for overseeing the management of major and minor capital projects, including summer works and energy saving projects. They will ensure that project activities and developments are implemented in accordance with the Estates strategy and Masterplans to support the University's objectives, while ensuring continuous quality improvement. The Capital Projects Manager will have responsibility for the development and delivery of capital projects and other relevant initiatives and will review project management processes for all construction and related estates projects through the implementation of procedures to ensure the consistent delivery of projects within projects specific parameters. The post-holder will be assisted by other Building and Estates Staff. The Capital Projects team may be supplemented with further technical assistance as required in accordance with the programme delivery requirements.
