Overview

  • Represent Quality in daily Operations and Supply Chain forums.


Responsibilities

  • Represent Quality in daily Operations and Supply Chain forums.
  • Communicate quality issues affecting food safety or key site metrics, including nRFT and CPMO, across functions.
  • Support nRFT and CPMO action plans in partnership with the site Quality Engineer and Quality Manager.
  • Support the plant in executing and monitoring quality-related changes, such as new packaging or technology trials.
  • Assist the Quality Manager with customer complaint investigations.
  • Support nRFT and CPMO action plans in partnership with the site Quality Manager.
  • Train site Operations teams on food safety and help maintain audit readiness.
  • Implement the quality strategy and drive quality simplification across the manufacturing facility.
  • Contribute to resolution and root cause analysis processes for quality-related non-conformances.
  • Troubleshoot issues affecting leading quality indicators, including food safety, by coordinating with onsite Quality, Operations, local and global Engineering, and Support Centre teams to implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Drive best-practice sharing, standardisation and harmonisation of programmes and practices across sites, including the PGCS Fix It Forever programme.
  • Comply with all PepsiCo H&S requirements.


Qualifications

  • Third level qualification in a science related discipline is required.
  • 3 years + quality manufacturing support role.
  • Liquids concentrate quality or ingredient quality is preferable.
  • Strong IT/Systems aptitude/analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in particular good communication and team skills.
  • Proven track record of working to tight deadlines and achievement of objectives.
  • Flexibility regarding priority changes.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Be results orientated and have a commitment to achieving objectives and promoting process improvements.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise work requests while at the same time displaying strong attention to detail.
