The Operations Specialist operates at the intersection of RRL Operations and Commercial teams, driving execution across multiple inventory streams - including Excess & Obsolete (E&O), Sparing supply, and external customer inventory. This role coordinates inventory flows across multiple stakeholders including Amazon, external customers, RRL Operations, Logistics, Business Development, and downstream partners to ensure material is efficiently managed and revenue recovery is maximised.

The role also supports RRL's commercial programmes by building inventory valuation frameworks for external customer inventory, providing pricing inputs and analysis to support new business proposals, and reporting and tracking of associated revenue and costs.

Key job responsibilities

Inventory Disposition & Coordination

- Manage all AWS E&O requests end-to-end, coordinating with Requestors, RRL Operations, and downstream disposition partners

- Monitor and action aged Sparing and Production material, ensuring inventory does not stagnate

- Coordinate inventory flows across Amazon, external customers, RRL Operations, Logistics, in alignment with priorities and timelines

Commercial & Pricing Support

- Build and maintain inventory valuation frameworks for external customer inventory

- Report and track revenue and costs associated with commercial programmes

- Provide pricing inputs and analysis to Business Development in support of new business proposals

General

- Maintain inventory reporting covering pipeline status, disposition outcomes, and financial recovery

- Provide regular updates to RRL leadership on inventory status and commercial performance

- Contribute to other value recovery and reverse logistics initiatives as assigned by management

re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is an electronics processing, reuse, and recycling company that works to extend the life of used electronic equipment with a specialization in the handling of valuable electronic hardware used in data centers. We are a stand-alone company within the Amazon corporate family. We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially aware Operations Specialist to join the re:Cycle Reverse Logistics (RRL) Commercial team. This person will drive inventory disposition and valuation activities across multiple material flows. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing concurrent workstreams and coordinating across a broad set of internal and external stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field

- Experience in procurement, supply chain, inventory management, contract management, lease administration or operations

- Experience in strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis

- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization, including coaching of junior staff

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in program, project, product management, or leading a product implementation process

- Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
