Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Medicine
University College Dublin (UCD) is seeking applications for a dry lab Postdoctoral Research Fellow to work on developing network models in cancer at the Systems Biology Ireland Centre (SBI, http://www.ucd.ie/sbi/) which is based on the UCD Belfield Campus. The successful applicant will be part of the Zhernovkov and Kolch groups at SBI working closely with other computational modellers, in addition to experimentalists and clinical/research students. The Fellow will work on a project focused on the analysis and modelling of the tumor immune microenvironment, particularly in cholangiocarcinoma. To be successful in the role, the Fellow will need to have experience in computational modelling of biological systems and an understanding of cancer signalling and omics data including transcriptomics, genomics, and proteomics. The Fellow should be self-motivated and comfortable working with collaborators from different disciplines.
Fixed Salary: €47,273 Per Annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
