Applications are invited for a permanent post of a Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor in Physiotherapy within the School of Public Health, Physiotherapy & Sports Sciences.
Applications are invited for a Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor post in subject area/speciality of Physiotherapy supporting the UCD Director of Clinical Education, Subject Head, Programme Director(s) and Practice Education Team to deliver high quality academic and practice placement education. This position is aligned with Physiotherapy.
The Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor will support staff on practice placement sites and the UCD Practice Education Team to deliver high quality practice placement education. The Special Lecturer/Clinical Tutor will also be available to support students virtually and/or in person if required by the UCD Practice Education Team. The appointee will contribute to module coordination and delivery for programmes offered by the school on-site in UCD and/or on-line where appropriate. The role will be based on site in UCD and/or on practice placement sites as directed by their line manager, with travel as required.
Special Lec/Clinical Tutor_2010 (0081_X) Salary Scale: €70,276 - €82,756 Per Annum.
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
Closing date: 12:00 noon (local Irish time) on 25 August 2026.
