Finance Transformation & Reporting Manager

Fineco Asset Management DAC ('Fineco AM') is a Dublin based Asset Management Company, and a subsidiary of FinecoBank S.p.A. ("FinecoBank"). FinecoBank ("Fineco") is a leading European bank with a 20-year history and a fully digital DNA with a branchless approach since the start. Fineco is one of the banks with the widest products range available. Fineco have developed a truly one-stop-solution which includes trading, investment and payment services. Fineco have developed a 100% proprietary platform for trading and investment which covers all customer needs from trading listed and OTC product to investment product such as mutual funds and ETF.

Fineco AM, which started its operations in May 2018, is authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland as a UCITS & AIFM Management Company with a MIFID top up, and it currently has approximately €39bn in assets under management. Fineco AM is a competence centre- specialised in the management of fund-of-funds, single strategy funds, as well as Structured Solutions Funds. In addition to portfolio management activities, all key supporting and controlling functions, such as Compliance, Risk, Finance and Legal, are also performed locally.

The company started with 5 employees and has experienced strong and consistent growth, with a current headcount of approximately 94 FTE's.

Currently Fineco AM manages 3 UCITS Umbrella Funds - 1 in Luxembourg and 2 in Ireland.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and technically capable professional to lead the development of data-driven reporting and business intelligence capabilities across the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in business intelligence, data management, and analytics, ideally gained within a Big 4 consulting or advisory environment.

Experience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Wealth Management, or regulated environments is highly desirable.

This role will be responsible for designing and implementing reporting solutions, developing scalable data models, enhancing data governance, and providing actionable insights to business stakeholders through advanced analytics and visualisation tools.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Finance Database - to be managed in snowflake. Dealing with counterparties and create quality checks on data inputs.
  • Analytics - Work on snowflake to transform the input data into dashboards.
  • Documentation -
  • Management Reporting: Assist/support CFO various projects including perform detailed financial analysis, variance analysis, and management reporting. Monitor management company profitability, cost allocation methodologies, and expense management processes.
  • Data Management and Analytics: Develop and maintain robust data models and reporting datasets. Establish data standards, controls, and reporting best practices. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through advanced analytics.
  • Data Analytics and Business Intelligence: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. Identify opportunities to enhance reporting through automation and digitisation using Power BI, Power Query, and DAX. Support the integration of data from multiple systems and sources.
  • Business Intelligence Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and management information reporting. Build executive-level KPI dashboards and performance reporting frameworks. Transform complex datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Automation and Finance Transformation: Automate manual reporting and reconciliation processes. Develop data solutions using SQL, Python, Power Query, and Power BI.


Key requirements:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced Power BI development skills, including Dashboard development, Data modelling, DAX and Power Query.
  • Snowflake, SQL and Python experience desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
