These Marie SkÅ,odowska-Curie Actions fellowships are co-funded by the AIB Trinity Climate Hub and the EU through the pilot Choose Europe for Science Programme. They fall under the Marine Species Distribution Monitoring project, which will explore how climate change is reshaping the distribution of marine species across the Northeast Atlantic. Applications for four postdoctoral research fellows are sought, in which applicants submit a research proposal. Research proposals may span marine spatial ecology, physiology, climate science, oceanography, engineering, and other interdisciplinary approaches. Research Fellows will pursue their proposed projects under the guidance and supervision of the five co-PIs. Fellows will be based in and across the lab groups of the five co-PIs and their two Schools at Trinity College Dublin (the Connor Lab, O'Connor Lab and Payne Lab within Zoology, School of Natural Sciences and the Basu Lab and Persoons Lab within the School of Engineering). Fellows will also be affiliated members of the AIB Trinity Climate Hub which provides additional supports to climate and nature researchers within Trinity. Research Fellows will have the opportunity to develop independent research ideas while benefiting from mentorship across these complementary research groups. Fellows may also pursue secondments in partner organizations, as appropriate. In addition to the competitive salary, allowances for family leave, mobility and work travel, and research and training costs are included.
