As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our Carriage House team on a full-time contract.
About the Role
As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will support the Restaurant Manager in leading and inspiring a highly skilled team to deliver exceptional, Forbes-starred dining experiences. You will play a key role in ensuring seamless service, maintaining the highest operational standards, and fostering a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and guest-centric service.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the Carriage House, ensuring flawless service delivery
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to consistently exceed guest expectations
- Maintain exceptional standards of service, presentation, and cleanliness
- Assist in team training, development, and performance management
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless communication and service flow
- Oversee reservations, guest experience, and service planning
- Handle guest feedback professionally, ensuring a positive resolution
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and attention to detail
Who You Are
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a Forbes and LQA-starred environment is highly desirable
- A genuine passion for hospitality and exceptional guest experiences
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Impeccable attention to detail and presentation
- Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
