We are currently seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant for our finance department.

The Role

This role will include a balance between client account balance management (reconciliations) and e-Billing. For reconciliations, duties involve meeting with Partners & fee earners, whilst monitoring and managing client account balances; investigating and resolving where required.

The successful applicant should be highly motivated with excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong organisational skills, and an ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The individual must also demonstrate a commitment to undertake the relevant training necessary for the role.

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Professional services / related experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • E-Billing experience is advantageous, but not essential

Duties include:

Client Account Balance Management

  • Review & identification of dormant client account balances
  • Investigate & resolve client account balance issues
  • Report to Director of Finance on client balances in line with new Solicitors Accounts Regulations

E-Billing

  • Client set up on e-billing platforms
  • Maintenance of e-billing platforms
  • Assisting PA's with upload issues on e-billing platforms
  • Dealing with queries and maintenance of LEDES files
  • Provide cover for other e-billing team members
  • Dealing with general queries that come into the #Ebilling inbox e.g. checking invoice status on payment platforms
  • Assisting with drafting rate cards
  • Other duties that may arise from time to time.
