We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our property maintenance operations and ensure our hotel remains safe, efficient, and beautifully maintained. This is a key leadership role for someone with strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering high standards in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department, managing a small team and external contractors.
- Ensure the hotel is maintained to brand standards in all guest rooms, public areas, spa, leisure centre, and back-of-house areas.
- Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance of facilities, systems, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, etc.).
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Maintain records and logs of all maintenance activities and regulatory compliance.
- Manage budgets for repairs, maintenance supplies, and projects.
- Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and ensure health and safety compliance.
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the hotel.
- Participate in hotel management meetings and contribute to continuous improvement planning.
- Previous experience in a similar Maintenance or Engineering Manager role within a hotel environment is essential.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
- Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility to be available for emergencies and participate in on-call duties.
