We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our property maintenance operations and ensure our hotel remains safe, efficient, and beautifully maintained. This is a key leadership role for someone with strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and a passion for delivering high standards in a hotel or hospitality environment.

As part of The iNUA Collection, you'll join a supportive team with access to development opportunities across our award-winning hotels nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance department, managing a small team and external contractors.
  • Ensure the hotel is maintained to brand standards in all guest rooms, public areas, spa, leisure centre, and back-of-house areas.
  • Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance of facilities, systems, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, etc.).
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and other departments, ensuring minimal disruption.
  • Maintain records and logs of all maintenance activities and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage budgets for repairs, maintenance supplies, and projects.
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the hotel.
  • Participate in hotel management meetings and contribute to continuous improvement planning.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar Maintenance or Engineering Manager role within a hotel environment is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and coordinate with other departments.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Flexibility to be available for emergencies and participate in on-call duties.
