Your Job:
  • Recruitment & Selection: Manage end-to-end recruitment screening applications, coordinating interviews & reference checks.
  • Onboarding & Induction: Ensure all documentation, contracts, HR records, and pre-employment requirements are completed. Deliver and coordinate induction programmes, introducing new colleagues to the hotel, its culture, policies, procedures, values, and health & safety requirements.
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives that promote colleague wellbeing, recognition, communication, motivation, and retention. Organise employee events, engagement activities, and feedback initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation, company policies, health & safety requirements, and relevant hotel standards. Maintain appropriate documentation and support audits when required.
  • Training & Development: Ensure all statutory training is completed and up to date, while engaging with team members to identify and promote relevant training and development opportunities.
  • Employee Relations: Provide day-to-day HR support to colleagues and managers, handling employee queries professionally and assisting with disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance-related matters.
  • HR Reporting: Maintain HR data and prepare regular reports on recruitment, turnover, absence, engagement, training, and other key HR metrics.

What You'll Need:
  • Minimum 1-year experience in Human resources.
  • Experience or exposure to Recruitment and Selection.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration and employment practices.
  • Approachable and confident when dealing with employees and managers at all levels.
  • Ability to drive Training and Development and drive succession planning.
  • Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is desired but not essential
