Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced regulatory reporting professional to join Carne's Regulatory Reporting & Calculations function.

This is an important role within Client Reporting, with responsibility for supporting the team that owns calculation methodologies, regulatory interpretation and data oversight across investor reporting outputs, including PRIIPs, UCITS, CCI, EMT, EPT, EET, Solvency II and related reporting services.

The role will suit someone who combines strong regulatory reporting knowledge with practical team management experience, good judgement and strong people skills. The successful candidate will work closely with Operations, Data, Technology, Client Relationship Management and external platform partners as Carne continues to develop its platform-based reporting model.

What are the minimum requirements you need for the role?
  • Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, data computation, or control functions.
  • Strong knowledge of PRIIPs, UCITS, EMT/EPT, CCI, Solvency II, EET frameworks
  • Degree qualified in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of RTS and regulatory calculation methodologies.
  • Proven experience operating at senior management level with cross-functional influence.
  • Experience with SaaS or platform-based operating models is desirable.
  • Strong stakeholder and client engagement capability.


What is your role and your responsibilities?
  • Supporting and developing Carne's regulatory reporting calculations and methodology capability.
  • Acting as a senior subject matter expert for PRIIPs, UCITS, CCI and related reporting requirements.
  • Supporting the interpretation of regulatory requirements and helping translate them into practical reporting solutions.
  • Ensuring calculation methodologies are clearly understood, consistently applied, and appropriately documented.
  • Working with Data and Technology teams to improve data quality, automation, and platform capability.
  • Supporting client discussions where regulatory calculations, methodologies, or reporting changes need to be explained.
  • Contributing to the development of Carne's future reporting model as the business moves toward a more scalable SaaS-based approach.
  • Managing and developing a specialist team, ensuring clear ownership, strong quality standards, and a collaborative working environment.
  • Providing day-to-day guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Supporting regulatory change, onboarding activity, and service enhancements across the Client Reporting function.


People Leadership & Capability Development
  • Lead and manage a high-performing Report Computations team with clear accountability, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Build a centre of excellence for regulatory computations with deep expertise in RTS, calculation methodologies, and data controls.
  • Develop structured onboarding, training, and continuous learning programmes across regulatory frameworks and platform capabilities.
  • Ensure consistency of approach through standardised methodologies, documentation, and cross-training.
  • Implement robust performance management including coaching, development plans, and progression pathways.
  • Promote strong ownership, proactive issue management, and audit-ready decision-making across the team.
  • Drive team capability to operate with increasing autonomy, enabling scalability of the SaaS model and reducing key person dependency.
