DLL Group Treasury function in Dublin 'Group Treasury' are responsible for managing cash, liquidity, funding, banking activities, and treasury reporting across DLL Group. The treasury function operates as an in-house bank for companies in the DLL Group satisfying both short and long term funding needs of the Group through the provision of foreign exchange services, interest rate and currency hedging needs as required. Through its match funding policy, balance sheet risks are transferred from DLL group counterparties to Group Treasury where it is centrally managed. Group Treasury funds these small lending deals to DLL counterparties principally by taking wholesale size debt from various funding sources and equity. DLL Ireland manages the related liquidity, interest rate and FX risks within approved risk metrics.

This role is for a Treasury Operations Official to join the DLL Group Treasury function in Dublin

The main activities of Group Treasury include:

Provision of market cost of funds information to ensure accurate pricing on all new leases. Meet the Funding and Hedging requirements of DLL Group counterparties including through the provision of working capital funding and term loans to DLL Group Companies to match the maturity profiles of leases. Manage interest rate, FX and liquidity risks of the Group by borrowing required funding, trading market derivatives for portfolio hedging purposes and foreign exchange hedging on behalf of DLL Group counterparties and Group Treasury. Optimizing and reporting on return on equity across the Group. Treasury Regulatory Risk Monitoring and Reporting for Group Treasury and DLL Group. Ensuring the Group Balance Sheet Risk policy is correctly applied across the DLL Group. Advisory services on all treasury matters for DLL Group Risk reporting, hedge accounting, accounting /reporting, transfer pricing benchmarking and files in addition to other services to DLL Group counterparties and parent.

Group Treasury team of 27 people together have a combination of specialist qualifications, extensive knowledge and experience providing a strong learning environment for all the team members. We interact on a daily basis with multiple stakeholders across DLL Group. We support and encourage continued professional development and upskilling as well as members moving between Group Treasury teams.

Group Treasury technology stack includes FIS Quantum Treasury management system, Refinitiv rates feeds, Bloomberg, SWIFT, Global Interest rate Gap Reporting Application, Hedge accounting application etc. We are committed to continual optimisation and development of Treasury automation.

Day to day:

Settlements and Cash Forecasting

  • Monitor daily liquidity positions across multiple bank accounts, currencies, and countries.
  • Support liquidity forecasting for DLL countries and approve funding to DLL countries

Cash Management

  • Monitor DLL country internal bank account limits and Treasury bank account balances.
  • Support the monthly review of third-party external bank accounts across DLL globally.
  • Develop practical knowledge of global banking structures, payment flows, and financial controls.

Accounting/Month End

  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and investigate exceptions.
  • Prepare Treasury Operations dashboards, month-end reports, and management information.
  • Support daily and monthly bank interest calculations and reconciliations across external bank accounts.

Reporting and Compliance

  • Maintain Treasury procedure documents and process maps.
  • Ensure Treasury activities are completed in line with policies, controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit requests, gaining exposure to Treasury governance and risk management.

Treasury Trade Transactions

  • Validation of Treasury trades, including FX, deposits, borrowings, and derivatives.
  • Ensure all Treasury deals with Rabobank are accurately recorded in Quantum and matched against trade confirmations.
  • Review Reuters' market rates and ensure floating rate transactions are accurate.
  • Gain valuable exposure to FX, Treasury products, financial markets, and multi-currency transactions.

Relationship Management

  • Support local finance teams by responding to queries and delivering accurate, timely reporting.
  • Work with key stakeholders across Treasury Risk, Finance, Compliance, IT, Payments, Auditors, and banking partners.
  • Build strong relationships that support efficient and well-controlled Treasury operations.

IT Systems and Process Improvement

  • Build proficiency in key Treasury systems including Quantum, Rabobank Business Banking, Reuters, and payment systems.
  • Identify and escalate system issues impacting Treasury processes.
  • Support automation, standardisation, and efficiency improvements across Treasury Operations.

Skills and Capabilities Required

  • Graduate with a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and confidence working with numbers, systems, and deadlines.
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative, with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to the team.
